Actor Chris Penn dead, no sign of foul play
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Character actor Chris Penn, younger brother of
Oscar-winner Sean Penn, was found dead on Tuesday at an apartment
near the Pacific Ocean in the Los Angeles suburb of Santa Monica,
police sources said.
No cause of death was immediately determined but there was no signs of
foul play, the sources added.
A family spokeswoman confirmed the death and said the Penn family
"would appreciate the media's respect of their privacy during this
difficult time."
Penn, 43, was a character actor who appeared in dozens of films
including "Reservoir Dogs," "Mullholland Falls" and the 2004 film
"Starsky & Hutch."
In one of his best known roles, he played baby-faced criminal Nice Guy
Eddie Cabot in director Quentin Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs." He
also starred along with his brother in the 1986 film "At Close Range."
Recently, Penn voiced Officer Eddie Pulaski in the video game "Grand
Theft Auto: San Andreas."

I wonder what he died of (?). Predictions, anyone? I'll guess drugs.
Think suicide? Probably a long shot.

The police stated that no signs
of foul play, so he might have had a heartattack, or drugs.

Was Chris Penn married? I notice there was no mention of him having a
family..but I always thought he was married.

On BBC, I read that he's got a new film showing at Sundance today.. Or
maybe it was gonna show. Probably too much of a cloud over it now.

When the police say "no signs of foul play" that does not mean natural
causes. It means no obvious signs of homicide. I once spoke to a
sheriff's deputy who confirmed that a noted writer had committed
suicide. The newspapers had said "no foul play." When I asked the
officer about this he explained that suicide isn't considered "foul
play." I'm not saying that's the case in this incident, just saying
that "no foul play" from the mouth of the police dies not neccesarily
mean "natural causes."

He looked huge in the last thing I saw him in. Bloated huge, not just
fat. It kind of reminded me of how Elvis looked in his last year.

You know I read a lot. Especially things that have to do with history.
I find that shit fascinating. In fact, I don't know if you know this or
not, Sicilians were spawned by niggers. It's a fact. Sicilians have
nigger blood pumpin' through their hearts. If you don't believe me,
look it up. You see, hundreds and hundreds of years ago the Moors
conquered Sicily. And Moors are niggers. Way back then, Sicilians were
like the wops in northern Italy. Blond hair, blue eyes. But, once the
Moors moved in there, they changed the whole country. They did so much
fuckin' with the Sicilian women, they changed the blood-line for ever,
from blond hair and blue eyes to black hair and dark skin. I find it
absolutely amazing to think that to this day, hundreds of years later,
Sicilians still carry that nigger gene. I'm just quotin' history. It's
a fact. It's written. Your ancestors were niggers. Your great, great,
great, great, great-grandmother was fucked by a nigger, and had a
half-nigger kid. That is a fact. Now tell me, am I lyin'?

Back to Chris Penn...I read that he died of a heart attack. He
definitely had that look like he was indulging in heavy drug and
alcohol use.
Poor guy. I loved him in Foot Loose.

Who knows. He looked to be VERY overweight in recent photos. His heart
could have given out or drugs could have been involved. Sad.

That was a quote of lines spoken by Dennis Hopper to Christopher Walken
in the movie True Romance. Believe me when I say it played better in
the movie than it does isolated in print. Chris Penn was in that movie,
but those weren't his lines. I don't know why the person posted those
lines.

The strangest thing, is if you look at the pictures of him on the BBC
website, he is very fat from the neck up but not terribly overweight
from the neck down. It made me wonder if he didn't have a kidney
problem.

And since he saw fit to not give any context whatsoever to his remarks, he
just looked like any other run of the mill racist moron.

He was pretty funny in that Chris Kattan movie where he played the
closeted gay brother of a Mafia family. What was that movie called?
